So how do you go about getting the best price on a new Tesla in the UK?
*** UPDATE 6/9/24 Tesla Referrals are back so you can get £1000 discount off a new Tesla in the UK by using an existing owners referral code/link. So if you have a friend with a Tesla use theirs, or better yet use this one!! : https://www.tesla.com/en_gb/referral/steven596012 ***
Firstly, if you qualify for a company car or have a salary sacrifice scheme with your work, then that is likely to be your best option due to low BIK tax rates on EVs.
Secondly, Tesla, have in the past, discounted inventory stock either at quarter end periods or when they need to shift units. At time of writing, Mar 24, they have a £4600 discount on pre-facelift Model 3 Long Range RWD.
If you are looking to privately get one on finance, a selection of current sample UK lease pricing is below. This isn't an endorsement of any of the companies/brokers or financial advice to enter into an agreement, simply a collation of publicly available pricing in one place. Check your own affordability, particularly for PCH where there is no early settlement option.
Based on 2 common sample vehicles, for 10000 miles per year over 4 years. (brokers often show 5000 mile prices to make numbers look low, but not a realistic usage if you're spending this much anyway IMHO)
Tesla pricing included for their PCH & PCP offers and they use a variety of lenders, such as Credit Agricole and Black Horse.
